Meet Dr. Bassam G. Rizk

After graduating from St Joseph University in Beirut with a Medical Doctor degree, Dr. Rizk spent more than 8 years in post-doctoral training in New York City and Baltimore, Maryland.

He maintains a double board in General Surgery and Colon and Rectal Surgery and has been practicing surgery in the Jacksonville area since 1994. He is affiliated with many local hospitals and dedicates all his time to the practice of surgery and the teaching of Family Medicine residents and medical students.

Building on his extensive experience in surgery, Dr. Rizk continuously pursues education in new technology and techniques to deliver care using the latest developments in the rapidly moving field of Surgery.
